Like London buses, you go months without a glimmer of publicity and then three come along at once.

Last May, Roy Lancaster visited us on a glorious sunny day and his four page review of the nursery and gardens is in April’s RHS The Garden magazine.  Obviously we’re chuffed to bits at getting such a glowing write up, but it was also a real joy to spend a day with such a knowledgeable, generous and charming man. We were closed on the day he visited but all the nursery staff came in to meet him of course. In the background on the main picture from left to right are Janet, Marilyn and Sally looking suitably cheerful in the welcome sunshine.
We’re also featured in April’s edition of Cheshire Life in an extensive article on English bluebells. Our bluebells aren’t out yet – they are usually in flower by the 20th April but the cold spring has probably held them back a bit.
And finally, but most excitingly, I wrote an article in the Spring edition of Into Gardens – surely the shape of the future for gardening media. Imagine a gardening magazine with all the writing quality and image gorgeousness of a print magazine, but with youtube videos, active weblinks to things you might take a shine to and a myriad of other clever little active gizmos. Marvellously informative and entertaining too.
