My RHS practical exam is over – a six hour skills and knowledge scrutiny that had a 40% fail rate last year. I think it went OK and am just glad it’s behind me.
On with Tatton Show tomorrow – four days left to complete the garden. With no hard landscaping progress today and heavy – possibly torrential – rain forecast for tomorrow we could be in for a tight few days to get everything done. We have a water feature to build, door to fit, backdrop to tidy up, wood edging, five seats to fit, pebble slope, and all the planting, plus mulching, plant tidying and overall tweaking.
Still we have a trusty team of helpers all committed to getting it done on time so we should be fine.
A couple of work in progress shots – Isabelle happily putting a first coat on the backdrop and Jools wielding the masking tape.

Glad to hear that the exam went okay. The Site looks huge – and seriously scary because of it. Am free next three days if you need a hand (or if more help is needed back at base). HK
HK – You'd be very welcome indeed! Give either of us a ring, stick your steel toe capped boots on and we'll find you a pass and a spade….
