Is it just me or has Toby got a much bigger smile on his face now that he never has to go back to Berryfields again?
I think I know how he probably felt. I’ve coped quite well for two years, but this year if anyone else says ‘when Rod Casey was here he used to….’ I’ll – well, I’m not sure I’ll be polite.

I hope the “New” man actually does some hard work this next year. He came across as a man who liked to be seen leaning on his spade, and was always caught on camera about to do some work or in the finishing touches of having done some, but never seen in action. Perhaps they decided it wouldn’t do to always have him breathless on the programme.
I am sure you will know this already and it won’t come as news to you, but on 13th March Gardeners World are having a one off programme called PLANT ADDICTS. It is introduced by Carol Klein and features Crug Farm and the garden of John Massey who owns Ashwood Nurseries. Now we’re talking – that sounds exciting!!
