With customers as scarce as a warm breeze this Easter, I’ve had a mammoth seed sowing spree. The greenhouses are bursting with trays and plugs full of promise of plants yet to be. This is the best bit in some ways, all neat and tidy, labelled and orderly, with everything to look forward to.

I have also, finally, listed all the plants on the nursery and in production. Now I still have to get it typed up into a spreadsheet and published, but I might just have a proper plant list on the website in a few days…..

What I haven’t done (amongst many other things) is made any further progress planting out the two new borders. It’s been too cold and the wind too strong (and the warm greenhouse too tempting). I also need someone to cover the nursery when we are open as I can’t assist nursery customers from the other end of the garden. But the forecast for later in the week is looking much more promising and it is still only March, so there’s time yet. But as you can see, there’s a lot to do – about 10 days planting work, I reckon.
